Web Site of the Week: tripkick
Posted by: Christine Bulson
If you are traveling to Boston next week for ALA and don’t want to have a hotel room facing a building three feet away, look at tripkick.com. For selected hotels in major cities the site suggests rooms to request based on features that are important to you - quiet rooms, corner rooms, rooms with great bathrooms and preferred views and floors. In Boston, tripkick includes ten of the fourteen conference hotels. If you are staying at the headquarter hotel, the Westin Boston Waterfront, and want a corner room with a view, ask for one ending in 02. If you are staying at the historic Fairmont Copley Plaza you might want to avoid rooms ending in 03-21 which are the least desireable. Tripkick also provides basic hotel information, transportation suggestions and reviews from other travelers. Safe travels and maybe I’ll see you in Boston!
