Terrific RBB Program at ALA Annual Conference

“Reference Work from Idea to Reality,” this morning’s Reference Books Bulletin program at the ALA Annual Conference in D. C., was fascinating. Representatives from Gale, Oxford, and Sage gave engaging and informative presentations about the whole process of bringing a reference work to our desk (or desktop), from the first germ of a concept to how and what to revise. Moderator Sue Polanka and I will be reporting more about the program in upcoming posts.
