Two Library Stories on the Radio
Posted by: Admin

This past weekend was a good one for librarians, at  least in radioland.

If you're a regular National Public Library listener, you might have heard librarian Kee Malesky mentioned from time to time in show credits. On Saturday there was a Weekend Edition Saturday piece about Malesky, who has been answering questions for NPR reporters for 20 years.  She now has a book, All Facts Considered: The Essential Library of Inessential Knowledge

The Bob Edwards Show on Sirius XM Satellite Radio had another installment in its series "Shhhh...Librarians at Work." This one discussed the state of school libraries and featured an interview with Gwyneth Jones, aka The Daring Librarian.
