In the News: Berg Fashion Library
Posted by: Rebecca Vnuk

While I was getting ready for work this morning, I heard this on NPR’s Morning Edition about what a boon it is for fashion researchers, writers, and designers to have free access to the online Berg Fashion Library via New York Public Library. It’s good for reference publishing when a reference work jumps over the garden wall and into the wider consciousness. (Another example of a reference work that recently made this leap is Green’s Dictionary of Slang.) This kind of story is good for libraries, too, since it  reminds people of the value libraries offer.
