App of the Month: Google Earth
Posted by: Christine Bulson

"Hold the world in your hand" begins the description of this app and that is what happens.   Google Earth is  available on desktops but walking with the world in your hand is amazing. The app will zoom into the street view of your current location as well as in many other parts of the world.  It has options of showing businesses, borders, labels and roads.  It will also link to Wikipedia and display photos from the panoramio photo sharing site.  This is a great reference app to find answers to questions as you travel or are away from a computer.
