App of the month: Penguin Classics
Posted by: Christine Bulson

Penguin Classics app is an annotated listing of  “the best works throughout history and across genres and disciplines.” So wherever you are you may find annotations for over 1,400 classics.  Searching is by author and title with additional searching by subject, genre, time period and region.  Looking for fiction in the 20th century in Boston lists two Henry James novels, plus for others including The Promise Land by Mary Antin. Not surprisingly there is and option to buy the Penguin classic paperback.
