Although there continues to be discussion on whether there is climate change,  since 2008 ClimateCentral.org analyzes and reports on climate science.  The organization believes the "climate crisis" is a real danger.  Their goal is to inform and inspire Americans to "support the actions needed to keep the crises from getting worse." In conjunction with news organizations, scientists conduct and analyze research and distribute the results to the media.  A report published last week is entitled Surging Seas. It is headlined with a map of the US where the user may enter a zip code and see if an area is in danger of flooding by 2020. There are fact sheets for sea level rise by state with Massachusetts having odds of 23% of having  a 100-year flood or worse by 2030.  The report also contains peer reviewed research papers documenting the topic.
