Every Day Is Science Day

Actually, the program is called Every Day Is Science Friday. You can hear it on NPR stations every Friday between 2 and 4 p.m. Eastern Time. Check your local stations for air time. You can also get it on the web at http://www.sciencefriday.com/. It is a talk show devoted to science topics in the news and the host, Ira Flatow, is an experienced science journalist. He presents balanced coverage along with podcasts and videos about scientific research that educate and entertain at the same time. If you want to see a guinea fowl on a treadmill or the launch of a space shuttle made out of Legos, this is the place for you. You will also find stories about dark energy, the state of America's high-tech talent, and the dispute of the actual height of Mt. Everest. You don't have to be a scientist to love this site.
